The Director of Web Operations is responsible for developing, managing, and updating the Engineering Society's website. The objective is to create a visually appealing, user-friendly, and informative website that effectively communicates the Society's initiatives, events, and information to its members and the public. 

Responsibilities:  

• Work with the Vice President of Marketing to establish a clear vision and strategy for the Engineering Society's website.

• Align the website's design and content with the Society's branding and objectives. 

• Design and develop the Society's website, ensuring an intuitive user interface, responsive design, and optimal functionality.

• Ensure that the content is well-organized and effectively communicates the Society's initiatives and events. 

• Regularly update and maintain the website to keep the content current and relevant. Innovative ideas are welcome!

Time Commitment: The Director of Web Operations can expect to dedicate a higher time commitment during the initial website development phase, which may require more hours per week. This phase involves designing and setting up the website, organizing content, and implementing necessary features. However, once the website is established, the time commitment is expected to be up to 2 hours per week for regular updates, maintenance, and occasional feature enhancements. The exact time commitment may vary depending on the specific needs and scope of the website and any ongoing initiatives or events. 

Meeting Schedule: The Director of Web Operations is required to attend regular meetings with the Vice President of Marketing and joint meetings with Director of Content Writing, and other relevant stakeholders to discuss website strategies, coordinate efforts, and align website initiatives with the Society's overall marketing goals.
