Academic Workshop Director [2 positions]

The Academic Workshop Director will be responsible for organizing workshops specifically focused on developing students’ professional and academic skills. 


Responsibilities: 

  • Help the VP Academic organize and directly run workshops both in-person and online. 

  • Research new workshops based on the interests of the students. 

  • Create and adhere to a budget for proposed workshops. 

  • Conduct polls to evaluate students’ satisfaction with current workshops to help plan for future workshops. 

  • Help promote and encourage student participation in workshops. 


Time Commitment: Academic Workshop Director should allocate 2 hours per week to ensure optimal participation and efficiency. Please note, additional time may be required leading up to an event.  


Meeting Schedule: The frequency of the meeting schedule will be determined by the workshops and events planned, however bi-weekly meetings providing important progress and updates are highly encouraged.
